Christopher Bevard entered the world obsessed with monsters, ghouls, creatures, and rock n’ roll. Little has changed in the ensuing decades.

A writer of horror and crime fiction for nearly thirty years, Christopher’s work has appeared in Rue Morgue, Cemetery Dance, Penny Dreadful, Rag Shock, and numerous other publications over the years. He divides his time between Chicago and New Orleans, and he is an avid collector of comic books (Golden Age, pre-code only) and Giallo films. He drinks far too much coffee, and will be happy to discuss cryptozoology in any situation.

And yes, he still has the costume. (Except for the tin-foil covered rain boots his mother crafted for the event pictured. Those didn’t make it. Pour one out.)
