After the death of a close friend suggests a business deal gone wrong, Chicago P.I. Ethan March sets his sights on a tech start-up known as Corridor and soon finds himself deeply entrenched in a criminal operation trafficking in drugs, gambling, and murder.  As he reconnects with old friends to try and unravel the bizarre circumstances that led to the killing, Ethan discovers a web of deception beyond anything in his experience and realizes that finding justice may mean turning his back on those he loves…and that the desire for vengeance can be as addictive as any drug.
